DESCRIPTION
Today an editor is responsible for more then just editing. From cutting footage to creating motion graphics for bumpers to sweetening audio, to creating VFX, an editor needs to understand how all those applications integrate with their NLE.
In this webinar, we are going to have a look at some of the techniques and applications that can be used together with Media 100 to create an efficient post-production workflow. We will focus on the exchange of data between Media 100, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro and Apple Color.
Though the concentration is on Media 100, many of the ideas and topics can be applied to other NLEs.

Media 100 editors who want to learn more about integration with various post-production applications. Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro video editors along with After Effects artists who want to collaborate with Media 100 video editors. Anyone else interested in learning more about Media 100 and it's various post-production workflows.
PREREQUISITE
None, but some basic knowledge of postproduction and editing would be helpful.
PRESENTER
Florian "Floh" Peters is a post-production workflow specialist, VFX artist, digital media specialist and instructor with 17 years of post-production experience.
As the Technical Director and Editor of his company, Magic Eye Videoproduktion, he worked on several award-winning TV shows for the largest German TV stations.
Additionally, he has produced several tutorials, which are featured on the Media100.com homepage and is also a moderator for the Media 100 and Apple Color forums at the Creative Cow.
MODERATOR
Marcelo Lewin is the CEO and founder of NewMediaWebinars.com, which creates webinars for and by digital media creators. Previously, he founded and was the CEO of Pixel Heads Network, a company that produced audio and video podcast shows focused on digital media creators. Pixel Heads Network was acquired by ProMAX Systems in 2008. In 1999, he created My Internet Desktop, an "OS on the web" company, way ahead of its time, it was acquired by Internet Appliance Network in 2000.
He is also the host of The Digital Scene, a web show where he interviews digital media creators and industry insiders in various expos, meet-ups and events.
Having also worked for a variety of companies, from Walt Disney Imagineering to NBC to Toyota, he is always on the forefront of interactive media, digital filmmaking and new media projects.
