PREREQUISITE

Though this webinar contains some great overview for those brand new to working with RED RAW Data Workflows or NLE’s, as well as the seasoned expert; We will be assuming that you have a working knowledge of Avid, FCP or Premiere and though we will be covering the Import function this is not an Editing, nor a DIT RED Acquisition Course.


PRESENTER

Scott Carrey
Scott Carrey brings a unique hybrid of business, technological and creative expertise to any type of media project. He has been intrinsically involved in entertainment and technology based organizations for over 20 years and is considered a leading expert in Digital Workflows.

He has worked with such companies as Warner Bros., Columbia Pictures, Touchstone, MCA/Universal, Sony Music, Playboy, MTV, Digital Domain, Sprint, IBM, McDonald‘s, and many other film, TV, and commercial clients, not only in the U.S., but also Europe, and Asia.

Scott has served on many professional boards including being a member of the Mayor of Los Angeles' Multimedia Roundtable and as a peer group member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

He currently sits on the Steering Committee of the prestigious Caucus for Producers, Writers and Directors representing the area of New Media and Digital Initiatives. He regularly speaks on professional panels and at academic facilities.

Marcelo Lewin
Marcelo Lewin is the CEO and founder of NewMediaWebinars.com, which creates webinars for and by digital media creators. Previously, he founded and was the CEO of Pixel Heads Network, a company that produced audio and video podcast shows focused on digital media creators. Pixel Heads Network was acquired by ProMAX Systems in 2008. In 1999, he created My Internet Desktop, an "OS on the web" company, way ahead of its time, it was acquired by Internet Appliance Network in 2000.

He is also the host of The Digital Scene, a web show where he interviews digital media creators and industry insiders in various expos, meet-ups and events.

Having also worked for a variety of companies, from Walt Disney Imagineering to NBC to Toyota, he is always on the forefront of interactive media, digital filmmaking and new media projects.
